| am sending this to you since you are the Moderator of the RTM and Chairman of the Long Range Financial Planning Committee.
Attached to this email is an email from Paige Walton, Tax Assessor, listing all of the 140 properties owned by the Town of Waterford.
There are 55 properties listed as "vacant lots", owned by the Town but are not being used by the Town. Mr. Muckle, previous Chairman
of the LRFP Committee, stated a few months ago during a RTM meeting that the issue of what to do with vacant land would be taken
up with that Committee. | assume that this will be on the agenda for the LRFP Committee. If you fell otherwise perhaps this item could
be referred to one
of the standing committees of the RTM.
| hope that the LRFP Committee will look at each of these properties and forward their recommendations as to which ones should be
kept for future use by the Town or should be sold. If any of these vacant lots have no useful Town purpose why not sell them and
become taxable land that could be developed by those who purchase these vacant properties.
