appropriated, and forward to the Board.of Finance for approval.

Re: request funds be moved from designated to appropriated
On behalf of the Waterford Fire Services, | would like to request that $181,000 in line 20523-57826
(Hydraulic Equipment) be moved from designated to appropriated.
This project ts currently with the Rescue Tool Replacement Committee in the evaluating stage of current
hydraulic rescue tools & equipment, We recently had this equipment serviced and many items came out
of service do to costly repairs needed, Most of these tools were purchased between 1995 & 2003, have
met, and exceeded thelr life expectancy. With the age and condition, | am recommending the purchase
of replacement equipment. Copies of pricing for hydraulic equipment fs attached to this request. Pricing
for mounting of equipment is additional and hard to get a quote as each apparatus is different. |
estimate cost of $10,000 or less to complete removal of old equipment and mounting of new
equipment.
