The CACIWC 2022 Conference will Celebrate the 50th Anniversary of Connecticut's Inland
Wetlands and Watercourses Act!
Greetings Connecticut Inland Wetlands and Conservation Commissions,
This continues to be a special year for CACIWC and its members as 2022 marks the 50th Anniversary of
the Connecticut Inland Wetlands and Watercourses Act (IWWA). We are organizing our Fall 2022 45th
Annual Meeting and Environmental Conference, which will be dedicated to the anniversary, and
working to make it our first in-person or hybrid conference since the onset of the COVID-19 pandemic!

We have set Saturday, October 29, 2022, as the date for our conference and again will be offering a
substantial discount on our conference registration fee to CACIWC member commissions and
staff. Please watch our website for additional information on this conference.
Please note that our 2022-23 CACIWC membership renewal fees are now due. The CACIWC Board of
Directors has again decided not to raise membership dues for this July 1, 2022-June 30, 2023, fiscal year
and we thank all the commissions who have already renewed their membership!
Two methods are also available for you or your commission to renew your membership:
1) You can renew your membership using the online form and pay by credit card, debit card, PayPal
account or mail your check to our office. This form is located on our website, at: CACIWC Membership
Form 2022-23 (wufoo.com)
2) You may also renew your CACIWC membership the traditional way by completing and mailing the
printed form to our office along with your check. This form is also located on our website at: CACIWC
Dues Renewal 2022-23
The renewal of your membership dues will help us fund our upcoming 45th Annual Meeting and
Environmental Conference and future issues of The Habitat.
If you have not seen it, please enjoy the latest issue of The Habitat, also located on our website. You
can download this full color issue with active web links within the articles and with all ads (just click on the
link or ad), at:
Habitat V34 N2 2022 Spring web.pdf (caciwc.org)
As discussed in this issue, we are still seeking photos and learning more about your town’s early inland
wetlands commissions as we celebrate the 50" anniversary of the Connecticut IWWA.
Thank you again!
