PROCEDURE: The Board of Selectmen will hear budget requests in accordance
with the below agenda for the Budget meeting, which begins at 4:00pm:
The Board of Selectmen to consider and act on the following budgets and at the
appropriate time forward to the Board of Finance for its consideration of and action °
on the FY25 Budgets:
A. Call to Order & Roll Call: 4:03 pm
B. Pledge of Allegiance
C. Public Comment:
D. Consider and act on the following budget requests:
Standing Motion: was made by Rob Brule and seconded by Rich Muckle to
tentatively approve the budget requests for FY25,
1. Social Service Grants — To consider and act on the Social Service
Grants tentative FY25 budget request in the amount of $100,250.
MOTION by Muckle, seconded by Attanasio to tentatively approve a total
budget request in the amount of $100,250. VOTE 3-0
2. Public Health & Nursing (VNA) - To consider and act on the Public
Health & Nursing (VNA) tentative FY25 budget request in the amount
of $26,297.
MOTION by Muckle, seconded by Attanasio to tentatively approve a total
budget request in the amount of $26,297. VOTE 3-0
3. Conservation of Health (Ledge Light Health District) — To consider
and act on the Conservation of Health (Ledge Light Health District)

tentative FY25 budget request in the amount of $148,407.
MOTION by Muckle, seconded by Attanasio to tentatively approve a total
budget request in the amount of $148,407. VOTE 3-0
4. Registrar of Voters — To consider and act on the Registrar of Voters
tentative FY25 budget request in the amount of $96,525.
MOTION by Muckle, seconded by Attanasio to tentatively approve a total
budget request in the amount of $96,525. VOTE 3-0
5. Representative Town Meeting — To consider and act on the
Representative Town Meeting tentative FY25 budget request in the
amount of $18,903.
MOTION by Muckle, seconded by Attanasio to tentatively approve a total
budget request in the amount of $18,903. VOTE 3-0
6. Town Clerk —To consider and act on the Town Clerk tentative FY25
budget request in the amount of $264,849,
MOTION by Muckle, seconded by Attanasio to tentatively approve a total
budget request in the amount of $264,849. VOTE 3-0
7. Police — To consider and act on the Police tentative FY25 budget
request in the amount of $7,152,676.
MOTION by Muckle, seconded by Attanasio to amend and reduce the amount
of $7,152,676 to $7,115,644 VOTE 3-0
MOTION by Muckle, seconded by Attanasio to tentatively approve a total
budget request in the amount of $7,115,644. VOTE 3-0
8. Youth & Family Services — To consider and act on the Youth &
Family Services tentative FY25 budget request in the amount of
$294,579.
MOTION by Muckle, seconded by Attanasio to tentatively approve a total
budget request in the amount of $294,579. VOTE 3-0
9. Senior Citizens Commission — To consider and act on the Senior
Citizens Commission tentative FY25 budget request in the amount of
$481,248.

10. Waterford Public Library — To consider and act on the Waterford

Public Library tentative FY25 budget request in the amount of
$1,006,837.

11. Emergency Management — To consider and act on the Emergency
Management tentative FY25 budget request in the amount of
$1,196,762.
MOTION by Muckle, seconded by Attanasio to tentatively approve a total

12. Information Technology — To consider and act on the Information
Technology tentative FY25 budget request in the amount of
$1,231,423.

13. Board of Finance — To consider and act on the Board of Finance
tentative FY25 budget request in the amount of $80,713.
