Cathy Barnard 182 Niantic River Rd Waterford, CT 06385 May 1, 2021 Mr. Dembeck, | am writing you today to show my support for the funding of the Nevins Cottage project. | was recently appointed to the Board of Eastern Regional Tourism District and places like the Nevins Cottage are exactly the type of building we should be trying to protect as part of our plan to draw tourists, and their money, into our town. | can think of many uses for the Cottage — from hosting small functions to being a place where local artisans can sell their crafts. All while preserving a little bit of Waterford history. | believe the money spent will be a good investment for the Town of Waterford. Thank you for your consideration. Cathy Barnard 860 306-2147
