Dear Mr. Dembeck and RTM Members,
Please approve the funds for saving the Nevins
Cottage. The building represents the history of our
town and it should be preserved. The house was part
of the huge Shaw Farm that once covered the area
from the high school over to the Rope Ferry condos
and across to Boston Post Rd. It holds stories that
are tied to the American Revolution, the Civil War, as
well as one of America’s foremost composers,
Edward MacDowell. Let's not let it fall down or tear it
down; lets hold it up as something that the town can
be proud of.
