Dear Tommy,
I write to enlist your support for funds for the Nevin’s Cottage. I have already begun to
explore the private sector for funds to support its renovation. Apart from the basic value of
historic preservation it symbolizes the Nevin’s family’s enormous contribution to Waterford.
Of course, it is of special architectural interest as well. I look upon it as a center for many
various programs beneficial to the town. I hope you are well and will look with favor upon this
request.
