Dear Mr. Brule:
The Purchasing Agent, on behalf of the Fire Department, respectfully seeks the Board’s
approval to dispose of thirty (30) SCBA cylinders in accordance with the Town Property
Ordinance, Chapter 2.112.020. These items have outlived their usefulness to the town
and will be disposed of at the local recycling depot.
Please note; only serial numbers are available and not Assed IDs.

The Department of Fire Services is declaring the following (30) SCBA Cylinders as end of life
and ready for disposal ‘

The life of a cylinder is 15 years. 28 of these cylinders were purchased in 2006 by Goshen Fire
Department utilizing a grant. SN OK163784 was found at Oswegatchie and SN OP145899 was
found at Cohanzie. If you should have any further questions, please feel free to contact me.
