To Members of the Waterford RTM:
As residents of the Town of Waterford who use the Pleasure Beach, we are asking
that the approval of funds for repair of the entrance walkway be approved. We
understand this project is being brought before the RTM and wish to express our support
of the project.
This path has become very dangerous and has caused tripping, slippage as well as
stumbling. This is due to the erosion over the years of this pathway. Someone is going
to get seriously hurt. Fixing this entrance will enable individuals with strollers, beach
wagons, walking problems to enter the beach safely. Currently everyone must maneuver
between tree roots, loose gravel, and boulders. The repairs and improvements of this
right-away will make it easier for everyone including the elderly, disabled and young .
moms to enter.
Please approve the funds so all residents and patrons can enjoy this lovely beach
without having to enter through a dangerous entrance.
