Community Volunteer Fair
April is National Volunteer Month! The library is hosting over 20 local organizations
and service clubs. All ages are invited to join us between 10 am and 1 pm to learn
more about volunteer opportunities for teens and adults. No registration required
to attend. There will be free refreshments. Please join us to learn more about ways
that you can help! Free and open to the public.

Pollinator Garden Paver Decorating – 2 Sessions
All ages are welcome to join us to work in pairs or as family groups to decorate pavers
with mosaic tiles to help us create the border for our newly expanded pollinator
garden in the front of the library. All supplies will be provided. Program is free and
open to the public. Library Trustee Eileen Boyce, along with community members, Susan & Charles
Luxton will be our instructors. Please register for only one session. Registration is required.

GIANT Room Kickoff Event
For kids who dare to be kinder to our planet - the GIANT Room is coming to our library!
Join us for an interactive and engaging workshop full of hands-on creative projects cen-
tered around Planet Earth. This workshop series is a great combination of hands-on
creativity, engineering, arts, and crafts, focused on family engagement and fun!
All ages are welcome, no registration required. This GIANT Room opportunity is funded
by the State of Connecticut and the Institute of Museum and Library Services under the
provisions of the Library Services and Technology Act, administered by the Connecticut State Library.

Jewelry Fundraiser Sale
Everyone is welcome to join us for a jewelry fundraiser sale. There will be a
wide selection of items available at affordable prices. Find something special for
someone in your life, to celebrate Mother's Day, or to just treat yourself! Cash
or card accepted for payment. All items are those that have been donated to
the library. All proceeds will go to support the Waterford Public Library!
