Callto order: Chairlady Sanders called the Waterford Senior Commission
Special Meeting of November 16, 2021 to order at 4:03 p.m.
Establish a Quorum: A quorum was established.
Public Comment: No public comment.
Approval of the minutes of August 24, 2021. Chairlady Sanders asked for
additions, deletions, or corrections to the minutes.
MOTION: Motion made by D. Judith Crawford, seconded by Anne Darling to
approve the meeting minutes as presented.
VOTE: 5-0-0 (Kathleen McNamara arrived after the vote)

a. Budget — no report — Budget meeting December 7 2021 at 4:00 p.m.

Highlights included our first Lunch & Learn since 2019 was held in
October, Medicare Boot Camp was held for people new to Medicare, Rent
Rebate applications are complete, we continue to assist people schedule
their Covid-19 vaccine and booster shots.

a. Long term planning
Astrategic planning committee will be formed to focus on long term
planning in areas of transportation, the endowment fund, and
intergenerational programs. The committee will be formed at the
January 25, 2022 Commission meeting.
. Set dates for 2022 Commission meetings.
Meeting dates for 2022: January 25, February 22, March 22, April 26,
May 24, June 28, August 23, September 27, October 25 and December 6.
MOTION: Motion was made by Carol Sanders to approve the
suggested meeting dates.
VOTE: 6-0-0
Other Business — Endowment Fund
Tabled discussion of the Endowment Fund until January along with the
long term strategic planning committee.

a. Anita Collins moved to adjourn the November 16, 2021 special meeting of
the Waterford Senior Citizens Commission at 5:12 p.m. seconded by
D. Judith Crawford.
