I, Call to order: Chairlady Sanders called the Waterford Senior Citizens Commission
Regular meeting to order at 4:02 p.m.
N Establish a quorum: A quorum was established. ;
I. Public Comment: Michael Buscetto spoke in support of everything you do and the
direction you are headed.
IV. Approval of the meeting minutes of the Special meeting of March 29, 2022. Chairlady
Sanders made a correction of the spelling of her name in the minutes. She asked for
additions, deletions, or correction to the minutes.
MOTION: Motion made by Dina Lopes, seconded by Anne Darling to accept the corrected
meeting minutes.
VOTE: 6-0-0
Vv. Correspondence
a. Resignation letter - D. Judith Crawford, moving out of area
b. Thank you note
c. Letter to Personnel Review Board — Human Services Administrator position
Vi. Committee Reports :
a. Budget — Discussion about stipend for services performed for graphic design and sharing
_ of Joe Trelli from Youth and Family Services, Discussion followed.
MOTION: Motion made by Kathleen McNamara, seconded by Joyce Viaun to approve
a $1,600 stipend to Joe Trelli for graphic design services for the remainder of the
fiscal year.
VOTE: 6-0-0

Nominating Committee
Members of the commission were reappointed by the RTM at their April 4, 2022
meeting. The members are Joyce Viaun and Kathleen McNamara. Rev. James
Johnson decided not to be reappointed. The two open positions will be filled by the
RTM at their June meeting.
Election of Officers:
MOTION: Motion made by Anita Collins, seconded by Anne Darling to keep the
current slate of officers. Carol Sanders — Chair, Kathleen McNamara
and Joyce Viaun as Co-Vice Chairs.
VOTE: 6-0-0
Transportation Sub-Committee
New van should be delivered in July.
Planned Giving Sub-Committee
The committee will meet at 5 p.m. after the Commission meeting on May 25, 2022
VIL Director Report for April 2022 (attached)
Highlights included: Final details of the May/June edition of The Loop are being made, the
Office Technician will begin on May 11, interviews for the Assistant Director are scheduled
for early May, the new Café manager has been hired, individual counseling has started with
5 new people receiving services.
Vill. New Business
a. Long term program planning — Tabled-— Discussion followed, remove from new business.
b. Liaison between Senior Citizens Commission and Youth and Family Services Advisory
Board. Discussion followed. Michael Buscetto volunteered to be the liaison for Youth &
Family. Anne Darling volunteered to be the liaison for Senior Citizens Commission. The
dates for Youth and Family Services Advisory Board are May 18, August 17, and
October 19. The secretary will send the Senior Citizens dates to Michael Buscetto.

Kathleen McNamara moved to adjourn the April 26, 2022 regular meeting of the Waterford
Senior Citizens Commission at 4:57 .m., seconded by Anita Collins.
