Call to order: Chairlady Sanders called the Waterford Senior. Citizens
Commission Regular meeting to order at 4:02 p.m. Ms. Sanders
welcomed Dan Rissi and Jody Nazarchyk to the Commission.
Establish a quorum: A quorum was established.
Public Comment: None
Approval of the meeting minutes of the Regular meeting of April 26, 2022.
Chairlady Sanders asked for additions, deletions, or corrections to the minutes.
MOTION: Motion made by Joyce Viaun, seconded by Kathleen McNamara to accept
the meeting minutes as presented.
VOTE: 5-0-2 (new member Dan Rissi & Jody Nazarchyk abstained)

a. Letter to Town Clerk regarding election of officers of the Commission

c. Transportation Sub-Committee
d. Planned Giving Sub-Committee — Meeting following on May 24 at 5:00 p.m,
Director Report for May 2022 (attached)
Highlights include: Rent Rebate appointments are starting, ADA training has begun,
new café manager has started with a soft lunch opening on Thursday, Choices via
Zoom continues with Senior Resources, offer has been offered for the Assistant
Director position.

a. Open Doors — Plans are in motion to restart the Open Doors program in June.

Dina Lopes moved to adjourn the May 24, 2022 Regular Meeting of the Waterford
Senior Citizens Commission at 4:55 p.m., seconded by Kathleen McNamara.
