MEETING MINUTES
June 5, 2023
Members Present: Chair Miriam Furey-Wagner, Traci Santos, Nancy Sugrue, Crissy Waggoner
Staff Present: Jonathan Mullen, Planning Director, Maureen FitzGerald, Environmental Planner
1. CALL TO ORDER
M. Furey-Wagner called the meeting to order at 5:00 pm.
2. APPROVAL OF THE May 22, 2023 MEETING MINUTES
MOTION: Motion made by T. Santos, seconded by C. Waggoner, to approve the May 22, 2023
meeting minutes.
VOTE: 4-0
3. REVIEW: Civic Triangle bid updates
J. Mullen gave a summary of discussions conducted with Suchocki & Son, Inc., the sole bidder, regarding
revised cost estimates for the alternate boardwalk decking material and railing system. A revised cost
estimate is anticipated by the end of week. The project scope will include the walkway, elevated
boardwalk, railing, lighting, the two footbridges, an accessible access to Rte 156 and some landscape
elements.
An additional appropriation for the cost of dredging the pond is being requested at the June 6, 2023 Board
of Selectman meeting. J. Mullen and M. Wagner will present the request. If supported, the committee
will present the request to the Board of Finance, scheduled to meet next on June 14, 2023.
4. ADJOURNMENT
The Committee scheduled the next meeting for Monday, June 20, 2023 at 5:00 pm.
MOTION: Motion made by N. Sugrue, seconded by C. Waggoner to adjourn at 5:22 pm.
