Also Present: Dani Gorman, Human Services Administrator, Terry Wheeler, Assistant
Director, Heidi McSwain, Human Services Coordinator, Meaghan Lineburgh,

I. Call to order: Chairlady Sanders called the Waterford Senior Citizens Commission
Regular Meeting of January 24, 2023 to order at 4:01 p.m.
li, Establish a Quorum: A quorum was established.
MOTION: Motion made by Kathleen McNamara, seconded by Anita Collins
to move item Vil Director’s report before item Ill Public
Comment to accommodate Director attending an additional
meeting.
VOTE: 6-0-0 in favor
e Director/Assistant Director Report for December/January
Highlights included Social Services cases high with many seniors finding housing difficult,
preparing new software to begin using credit/debit cards in late Spring, February
brings Random Acts of Kindness month, ADA training is ongoing, transition plan
is in and being reviewed by the State.

IV. Approval of the meeting minutes of the Regular Meeting of December 6, 2022. Chairlady
Sanders asked for additions, deletions, or corrections to the minutes.
MOTION: Motion made by Dan Rissi, seconded by Dina Lopes to accept
"the meeting minutes as presented. ;
VOTE: 5-0-2 (Joyce Viaun, Anne Darling abstained)
Vv. Correspondence: Letter from RTM regarding public comment section on agenda,

VL Endowment Fund: Discussion regarding the Endowment Fund.
MOTION: | Motion made by Dan Rissi, seconded by Dina Lopes to
transfer $10,000 from Special Revenue to the Endowment
fund.
Discussion on transfer followed.
MOTION: - Motion made by Dan Rissi, seconded by Dina Lopes to
amend the motion to transfer $5,000 from the Special
Revenue Fund to the Endowment Fund and to review in
three months.
VOTE: _ 7-0-0

a. Budget — Board of Selectman hearing on February 1 and Board of Finance hearing
on March 6.
