Advisory Board Meeting  
Wednesday, September 18, 2024

Attendance: M. Buscetto (Chairman), M. Balestracci, J. Bennett, M. Cristofaro, T. Cieplik, D. 
Gorman (Human Services Administrator), C. Mahoney, E. McNamara, C. Muckle, B. Smith 
(Youth and Family Services), B. Sutman, J. Trelli, K. Elbaum  
Absent: R. Brule (First Selectman), A. Battey, J. Fliapetti, L. Wolfley  
1. Call to Order: Meeting was called to order at 5:00pm and quorum was established  
 
2. Approval minutes from prior meeting: Motion to approve minutes from prior meeting 
was made by E. McNamara and seconded by C. Muckle. Motion was passed.  
 
3. Correspondence: None 
 
4. Director’s Report & Financial Report: D. Gorman introduced newly appointed staff to 
Advisory Board. D. Gorman reported that mental health continue to remain busy. 
Gorman informed the board that 2 Youth and Family Services programs have been 
selected to be featured on state stage. Gorman let the board know that it is the beginning 
of a new fiscal year.  
 
5. Program Report: J. Trelli reported that it was a success Camp DASH season. Trelli let the 
board know that many of the after school programs are full with new programs 
beginning. B. Smith informed the board that there would be a few trips happening this 
season. Smith discussed the holiday program.  
 
6. Student Report: C. Mahoney and B. Sutman (Student Representatives) discussed new 
policy changes at the high school.  
 
7. Old Business: No old business 
 
8. New Business: No new business  
At 5:45pm M. Cristofaro made a motion to adjourn with J. Trelli seconding. Motion was passed
