RE: Special Election for RTM District 1 Mid-term Vacancy
Dear Mr. Campo,
On behalf of the Waterford Democratic Town Committee, I submit the following slate of candidates to fill the vacancy
created by the recent resignation of RTM District 1 Representative Nick Gauthier:
Narciss Greene

While the DTC believes all three individuals are well-qualified to serve the remainder of the term that ends in November
2025, Narciss Greene is the preferred candidate for this position. She has an impressive background including a Master’s
in Public and International Affairs and she is also a business teacher at East Lyme High School where she helped create a
pilot food waste collection program. Here in Waterford, she has a proven track record of bringing people together where
she rallied parents to attend town meetings to address the drainage issues at the schools. We are confident that Narciss
will continue to bring people together for the common good as a member of the RTM and feel she will reflect the voices
and concerns of the constituents of District 1.
Thank you for your consideration of this matter.
Sincerely,
Ly [Rona
