The April 7, 2021 special meeting of the Public Works, Planning & Development Committee of the RTM
was called to order by Chairperson Michael Rocchetti at 7:01 P.M.

PRESENT: Mike Bono, Liam O’Leary, Ted Olynciw, Michael Rocchetti
ABSENT: Miriam Furey-Wagner
ALSO PRESENT: Town Clerk David L. Campo, RTM Moderator Thomas Dembek, Public Works
Director Gary Schneider
AGENDA ITEM 4: September 30, 2020 Minutes
MOTION by Bono, seconded by Olynciw, to approve the minutes from the September 30, 2020 meeting.

PUBLIC COMMENT

AGENDA ITEM 5: Appraisal of a sidewalk ordinance and associated safety issues, RTC 02/01/2021
PRESENTATION: Public Works Director Gary Schneider
Discussion ensued in regard to conditions of sidewalks in town and specifically on Niantic River Rd. In
addition, the committee discussed what an ordinance might look like, if there is a need, and ADA
requirements.
The committee agreed to meet again on May 19. 2021
