Waterford Senior Citizens Commission Meeting Tuesday, December 16, 2025 at 4:00pm Waterford Community Center 24 Rope Ferry Rd. Waterford, CT 06385 Present: Joyce Vlaun (Chairperson), Rick Beaney, Anne Darling, Cathy Gonyo, Dina Lopes, Marilyn Lusher, Dan Rissi, Susan Marelli Also Present: Dani Gorman (Human Services Administrator), Heidi McSwain (Human Services Coordinator), Terry Wheeler (Senior Services Assistant Director, Richard Muckle (Selectman Representative) Absent: Tom Kennedy (Senior Representative) I. Call to Order: Meeting was called to order at 4:02pm II. Establish a Quorum: Quorum was established III. Public Comment: None IV. Approval of minutes of the November 18, 2025 Commission meeting: Motion made by Marilyn Lusher to approve the minutes of the November 18, 2025 Commission Meeting. Rick Beaney seconded the motion. Motion passed. V. Correspondence: Thank you letter and donation presented to commission. VI. Committee Reports: a. Budget: Senior Citizen Commission Budget for Fiscal Year 2027 presented to commission, discussion followed. Motion made by Marilyn Lusher to approve the Senior Citizen Commission Budget for Fiscal Year 2027 as presented. Anne Darling seconded the motion. Motion passed: 8-0-0 b. Nomination Committee: None c. Endowment/Planned Giving Sub-Committee: One endowment request went to committee. Discussion followed d. Transportation: Dani Gorman stated that in January there would be a presentation to the commission on new transportation software. Discussion about reviewing transportation policies and to be presented to commission at January Commission Meeting. e. Policies Ad Hoc Committee: None VII. Director/Assistant Director Report for November 2025: Terry Wheeler presented the commission with latest addition to the Loop. Wheeler stated that registration were busy with an increase in online registration. VIII. New Business: None IX. Adjournment: Rick Beaney made a motion to adjourn at 5:01pm.
